Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 June 2026
Dumple is a brain dumping app. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use Dumple.
Information we collect
- Account information created through Sign in with Apple, including your Apple identifier and session data.
- Content you create in Dumple, including transcripts, recordings, shared text or links, generated drafts, and edits you make to them.
- Subscription and billing status provided through Apple in-app purchases.
- Operational metadata such as task usage, token usage, cached prompt usage, device-side diagnostics, and service logs needed to run and improve the app.
How we use information
- To authenticate you and keep your account working.
- To process transcripts and generate formatted outputs you request.
- To sync and store your content so it is available across app sessions and for support or recovery workflows.
- To measure usage, enforce plan limits, detect abuse, fix bugs, and improve reliability.
AI processing
When you ask Dumple to clean or format content, the relevant text may be sent to third-party AI providers that process it on our behalf. We use those providers to return the outputs you requested, not to sell your content.
Sharing and disclosures
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us run Dumple, including hosting, authentication, payment, and AI processing providers. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Dumple or its users.
Retention
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, support your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Local drafts or cached data may also remain on your device until deleted by you, the app, or the operating system.
Your choices
- You can delete app content from within the product.
- You can stop using Dumple at any time and remove the app from your device.
- You can manage subscriptions through Apple.
Children
Dumple is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
